Power and Responsibility

I heard this sentence so many times from my elders and in movies but never understood the exact meaning because I never had that power that I could use with responsibility.

but now I started feeling that this keyboard and the monitor screen is my power thats given to me by the internet social media and now i need to be more responsible.
